Introduction

This website is owned and operated by The Bar Company. The Bar Company is a registered business name of Home kegs ltd. The Irish business number is 322273  and Irish company number is 393783. Our registered vat number is 6413783Q.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully, they are the terms of use for this website as provided by The Bar Company.  These terms and conditions were last updated on 20th October 2008.

Ordering
There are 3 methods in which you can place an order with The Bar Company.
- by Internet on our site: http://www.TheBarCompany.ie,  24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- by telephone at +353 (0)91 778876  
- by Post accompanied by a copy of your order and your method of payment addressed to: The Bar Company, Unit 17 Westlink Commercial Park, Oranmore, Galway, Ireland . We will then provide a follow up call to confirm that we have received your order.

Payments before order processing

Some of our product procurement is done on a case by case basis, as the customer requires it. This means we keep very minimal stock at our showroom in Oranmore, Galway, Ireland.
Customers should note that all payments are taken before products are ordered, if there is a delay receiving a check, bank draft or a credit/debit card is unauthorised the order will not be processed until payment is made.

Pricing & product information

All prices on our website are shown inclusive of vat.  All prices exclude delivery charges. As our prices can fluctuate from time to time, The Bar Company reserves the right to change prices in accordance with price changes from our suppliers. Should there be a pricing error on the website, in any correspondence from The Bar Company, or by any other communicative method, the right is reserved by us to cancel the order and offer the product(s) and/or service(s) at the correct price.  While The Bar Company tries to ensure that all prices are accurate, errors may occur. If, prior to delivery of the products, The Bar Company discovers an error in the price of the products ordered, or the price changes as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we may change the product’s price and  all such changes will apply to any order placed with The Bar Company.

Trademarks and branding logos
All names, trademarks, images and logos, whether pertaining to The Bar Company, associated companies or third parties and their products and services are proprietary marks of The Bar Company, its associated companies and/or third parties. Any third party use of logos/trademarks is strictly prohibited without written consent from their respective owners.

Payments

All orders must be prepaid before supply, or performance of service. Accepted payment methods are credit card (visa, MasterCard,), debit card (laser), Cash on delivery and cheque.  Attempts to make payment that are found to be fraudulent or in any way unlawful will be reported to the relevant authorities. As most products are special orders (i.e product ordered in to fulfil order), once payment has been received for the order, the goods shall be dispatched for delivery.  Whereas the customer pays for an order by cheque, the cheque must clear (usually 3-5 working days) before any goods are dispatched.  Any returned or “bounced” cheques will incur a handling charge of €30.00.

Delivery
The products bought on the Site will be delivered to addresses throughout  Ireland. Your goods will be delivered to the address you indicated when you placed your order
 

The Bar Company offers 4 methods of delivery:

Standard postal delivery
This delivery option enables you to receive your order in 3-4 days with An Post. Place your order before 11 am and it will be processed on the same day, if the product that you have ordered is in stock on our site.

Courier Delivery

This method of delivery is most suitable for bulky items up to and including a combined weight of 30kg. The Bar Company use Fastways couriers as our chosen courier. The service is generally a next day delivery, if the product you have ordered in stock on our site.

Pallet delivery
The Bar Company offers a nationwide next day pallet delivery service, providing orders are placed prior to 11am and all items are in stock. This service is most suitable for kegs, full draught systems and other items exceeding 30kgs weight.
Delivery may take longer for areas that are not easily accessible.

Home delivery
Our home delivery service is most suited to larger items such as pool, snooker and gaming tables, arcade machines, home bar units and multiple keg orders. Once an order has being placed and payment processed, our sales team will contact you directly to discuss a suitable delivery day and time. All items are delivered / installed by The Bar Company employees. All packaging and waste associated with home delivery items is the responsibility of the customer.

Upon reception of your order, we recommend that you verify your products against the order that you placed with us and if necessary, write any anomalies that may have occurred on the delivery voucher, not forgetting to sign it. Without prejudice with respect to the applicable legal guarantees, we recommend that you address any reservations you may have pertaining to malfunctioning products on the date of delivery as quickly as possible by Post to the following address or by email: The Bar Company, Unit 17 Westlink Commercial Park, Oranmore, Galway.
Returned products can only be accepted in their original state, notably with respect to their packaging, accessories and manuals. In the event of non-conformity of the product purchased, the User will have the choice between repair and replacement of the product, except if the desired option has an associated cost that is manifestly disproportionate to the alternative. We would like to inform you that a delay of 24 hours is possible for delivery of your order. By consequence, and in trying to avoid any delay, when you place your order, please enter the following:
-a valid email address
-a land line telephone number (work or home) where you can be reached at any time of the day

Returns / Refunds / Cancellation policy
You have 30 days from the date of ordering during which you can return the goods for any reason. Our no quibble policy means we will happily refund or replace that item.
If you wish to cancel your order before dispatch:
(1)           Please notify us by contact form , or
(2)           Whereas goods have already been dispatched, by returning goods to us in accordance with clause below.
You can return goods you have ordered from us for any reason at any time within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. All postage / delivery costs of goods shall be borne by you.
Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation that all packaging/manuals are in tact we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required within 15 days.
The rights to return the goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances:
A) in the case that the product has been used in any way.
B)  to any products that have been designed and built to your specification i.e. Home bar units.
C) the goods were ordered especially for yourself from our supplier

All goods being retuned to The Bar Company where they are being retuned as faulty or damaged must be reported within 3 days of receipt of order.
Please note: Whereas kegs are reported as being “gone-off” or “flat” or “bad”, all kegs with more than 5 litres missing will be treated as suspect cases. All our kegged products are dispatched with a minimum of 2 months shelf life and are security marked. This security marking makes the kegs more easily identifiable as The Bar Company stock if returned. All fraudulent returns will not receive any refund or rebate.

Please obtain a Certificate of Postage when returning goods, and make sure any packaging will protect goods.
